YEYEYE! I tell you what! It's been a ton of fun wackin' these big fish. Been rippin' drag like all get out! Here are some photos of last weeks catch out off the beach in Longboat, Lido & Siesta Keys.
Finally Cooler Temperatures! Water Ranging from 81-86 Degrees.
A full array of species are being caught mainly on big fat Hart's Landing Shrimp! I throw the new, I catch some fish on whitebait, it's not my favorite, although it's free, if you can throw a new. I repeat, I catch fish on whitebait, but I seem to catch more of the fish I like to target with shrimp. Black Drum, Mangrove Snapper, Permit, Cobia, Snook, Redfish, Speckled Trout, Sheepshead and Flounder are my favorite fish to catch and eat. I like the fish that go after whitebait, Spanish Mackerel, Bluefish, Kingfish, Bonito,... but it's not my favorite fish to eat. So there you go!
