Man I tell you what! The nearshore reefs in Sarasota have been on fire with big fat sheepshead some really nice hook caught hog snapper, there are mangrove snapper showing up now and I’m starting to see some Spanish mackerel zipping around. The waters are starting to get up to about66° , once it hits 68° then we start seeing the cobia and the triple tail, I am ready. I live in Greenbay…one of the best walleye/musky fisheries in the US. I have trophy Walleye and Musky on my wall…but…I love salt water fishing…my 1st fishing trip in Florida was with Cap’n Doug…he got me hooked because of the size and numerous species that I’ve been fortunate to catch in his boat. There will never be a dull moment when you fish with him.
